In 1981 it was because of the Specials that I cutted my hair as short as I could. 30 Years later it were lice that brought me to the same hair: Bold.
This is me with my friend Hans Venhuizen at the Schiedamsedijk in Rotterdam. It was 1998, we are both dressed up to go to the football match Sparta Rotterdam - Nac Breda (3rd of April 1998). I had a sony digital camera with a tilteable lens. I shot the picture myself, as my facial expression shows.
This is me and my friend Hans Vennhuizen, in 2009, more than 10 years after the game. We still are friends. Two older men, both proud fathers of two children. Same place, same men, but in a different era. Watch the building on the right, meanwhile it got cleaned.
